Afaq Project

Arrowad Group conducted a study on the development of the educational process within the framework Afaq project.

Afaq project aims at improving the efficiency of the higher education system in the Kingdom through the development of a long-term 25-year strategic plan with a futuristic vision an ambitious mission. The project was commissioned by the Ministry of Higher Education to King Fahad University of Petroleum and Mining.

University of Cambridge

Arrowad International School has met the standards to be a Cambridge International Examination and British Council Attached Centre.

Cambridge International Examinations is the world's largest provider of international education programs and qualifications for 5-19 year old students. Their qualifications are taken in over 160 countries and recognized by universities, education providers and employers across the world.

Educational Testing Service

Arrowad International Schools have been accredited by the Educational Testing Service (ETS) in 2008 as a SAT testing center. The schools are now eligible to offer SAT, ACT, PLAN, NMSQT, and PSAT tests.

Educational Testing Service (ETS), founded in 1947, is the world's largest private nonprofit educational testing and assessment organization. It is headquartered in Lawrence Township, New Jersey, near Princeton. ETS develops various standardized tests primarily in the United States for K–12 and higher education, and it also administers international tests including the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language), TOEIC (Test of English for International Communication), Graduate Record Examination (GRE) General and Subject Tests, and the Praxis test series.


Arrowad International School is accredited by AdvancED; the world's largest education community serving more than 30,000 public and private schools and districts across the United States as well as more than 70 countries that educate over 16 million students.

The AdvancED Accreditation Process, a protocol embraced around the world, is a clear and comprehensive program of evaluation and external review, supported by research-based standards, and dedicated to helping schools, districts and education providers continuously improve.

Commissions on Accreditation and School Improvement

Arrowad International School has met the requirements established by the AdavancED Accreditation Commission (North Central Association, Commissions on Accreditation and School Improvement).

AdvancED is a non-profit, non-governmental organization that accredits primary and secondary schools throughout the United States and internationally. It was formed in 2006 by the consolidation of the pre-college divisions of two US accreditation organizations: the Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA CASI), and the Council on Accreditation and School Improvement of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS CASI). In 2012 the Northwest Accreditation Commission (NWAC) joined AdvancED.

College Board

Arrowad International School is a member of College Board.

College Board is a not-for-profit membership organization whose mission is to connect students to college success and opportunity. Each year, they serve 7 million students and their families, 23 thousands middle and high schools and 3,800 colleges in over 180 countries.
