Saudi Arrowad Group launched the Values-Based Leadership Program in a multi-crisis world, at the United Nations headquarters in Geneva, last Monday, 11th of Shawwal, 1444 Hijri, corresponding to May 1st, 2023.

This program is part of the strategic partnership between the Saudi Arrowad Group and the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR), within the global efforts to empower values, it extends along the pathways of international cooperation to develop consultancy and training programs in governmental, private, and non-profit organizations in the field of values-based leadership.

The Assistant Secretary-General of the United Nations and the Executive Director of the United Nations Institute for Training and Research, Mr. Nikhil Seth, announced the launch of the training program, commending its significance and positive impact towards enhancing global values and empowering them across all sectors and organizations.

Dr. Saad bin Ibrahim Al-Khalaf, Vice President and Co-founder of Arrowad Group, highlighted that this project stems from our belief in the importance of international partnerships and the collaborative efforts between global expertise and international organizations to build and strengthen global value systems. He also acknowledged the unlimited support from the private sector, guided by our wise leadership, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman - may God protect them. He emphasized that the leadership of the Kingdom embodies values-based leadership in both words and actions.

Dr. Al-Khalaf also pointed out that the inspiration generated by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed in the hearts of citizens and his trust in the capabilities of the nation's people enabled Arrowad Group to achieve this partnership with the United Nations Institute for Training and Research. Following this, a panel discussion titled 'Values-Based Leadership in a Multi-Crisis World' was held at the United Nations Headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland. Several officials and experts participated, including His Excellency Engineer Mansour Al-Mushaiti, Deputy Minister of Environment, Water, and Agriculture of Saudi Arabia, Dr. Ghazi bin Zaqr, a member of the Consultative Assembly of Saudi Arabia, and Dr. Saad bin Ibrahim Al-Khalaf, Vice President of Arrowad Group.

In the discussion, speeches were delivered by Mrs. Maria Edera Spadoni, Deputy Speaker of the Italian Parliament, Dr. Christian Heriefer, President of the Global Values Studies Association from Austria, Dr. Neil Hawks, Founder of the Values-Based Education Trust from the United Kingdom, and Mrs. Stella Coliva, Vice President of SAP Global in Europe, in addition to several experts and advisors from the United Nations Institute for Training and Research.

The inauguration was attended by delegates from sister countries at the United Nations, along with dignitaries and senior officials in Geneva.

It's worth noting that the Saudi Arabia-based Arrowad Group is the first Arab company to collaborate with the United Nations on building and empowering values within governmental, private, and non-profit organizations worldwide.
