It commemorates the day of harvest for the noble seed sown by the late King Abdulaziz, may God have mercy on him and reward him abundantly on behalf of Muslims. On National Day, we reminisce about how we were and how we have become, by the grace and favor of God.

This nation once endured the severest of hardships and tasted the bitterness of division, fragmentation, and poverty until God bestowed upon it the great leader, King Abdulaziz, may God bless his soul. He fortified its pillars, laid its foundations, elevated its stature, safeguarded its borders, rectified its affairs, and guided its people on the right path. By God's grace, it flourished with security and safety, living and continuing to thrive in the embrace of goodness and security: as one united nation, a noble land, possessing a glorious and grand history, a peaceful and reassuring present, and a promising, radiant future.

The people of this nation haven't forgotten the poverty and the hardships they once faced, struggling with basic necessities. God showered them with abundant blessings, prosperity, and a comfortable life. The state, by the grace of God, supported all its citizens; it provided for the needy and those with special conditions, facilitated employment opportunities for the capable, and supported entrepreneurs in their trade and businesses.

The people of this nation remember the hardships their ancestors faced, with deteriorating health conditions, epidemics, and deadly diseases that claimed many lives. God blessed them with good health and well-being. The state dedicated efforts to enhance healthcare services, sending medical students abroad, constructing hospitals and health centers, providing free treatment, and ensuring the availability of medications across all regions, cities, provinces, and villages.

Many in this nation recall the prevalence of illiteracy, the scarcity of education, scholars, and schools. However, by God's grace, this blessed country made education its top priority. Tremendous efforts were made to spread education by establishing schools, institutes, and universities across the nation. Additionally, incentives and rewards were introduced, hastening the realization of our nation's hopes. People witnessed the impact of these efforts in their minds, behavior, and livelihoods.

Thus, the people in this blessed land now enjoy goodness, abundance, knowledge, health, and all the joys of a dignified life. We thank God who has completed His blessings upon us, and we ask Him to increase us in His bounty.

The advancement of the educational process and the development of its outcomes are evident in the rise in global university rankings, the increase in our students receiving international awards, the growth in the number of patents, the enhancement of innovation centers' achievements, and the abundance of expertise and research institutions.

On the international economic front, it's undeniable the prestigious position our beloved country occupies among the top economies globally, marked by rapid growth and prosperity. Today, it stands as a member of the G20, wielding significant influence in energy and economic markets, holding a prominent position and decisive power within them.

At the political level, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia today plays prominent roles regionally, continentally, and globally. It engages in continuous and diligent efforts to bolster global security, engage in diplomatic mediation, combat crime and poverty, and aid in the development of less fortunate nations. As a result, our beloved capital, Riyadh, has become a focal point for countries aspiring for prosperity and stability.
